list of some stuff...
a few seemingly random bits i'd like share...
1. The Zumi Digital Camera!! Has the look of a lomo but it shoots DIGITAL!!!
i never went with the lomo because the idea of going back to film wasnt appealing.... i've also been on a strict "no new art supplies diet" trying to use everything that I have before buying anything new. But a camera, well THAT i was able to justify. Especially since the video feature emulates 8mm film!!! so....i just ordered one & cant wait to play! fyi: if you join the email list you'll get a 10% discount code too :)
2. More "stuff"
ok, seriously how awesome are these for the photo enthusiast??? (no affiliation with photojojo I swear! & i'm really not a "stuff" pusher, but come on!)

3. This Book
I just recently finished it & ADORED it. A great read for those of you interested in women's studies and/or biblical fiction/non-fiction-ish.
4. A new painting in the works...
In honor of the little friend I encountered at Fort Worden. I just started it last night so I have a ways to go, but it may be fun to document the whole process....
5. Teesha Moore's Journaling videos
SUCH a prolific journaler.. If you haven't seen the new videos on her blog or youtube yet, go check them out! It's fun to see her process in action. TOtally inspired me to get back to intuitive journaling....
6. Some new (to me) blogs i have been admiring: dottie angel, yarning, elsa mora
that's all for now... TGIF! xo

repurposed incense box!
My sister & I bought a bunch of these incense boxes a few years back to gift & resell & I discovered one lingering in my closet.... now, if your art supplies look anything like mine, then organizational tools are ALWAYS quite handy (especially for alphabet stamp sets!). I took the box apart and measured out the inside to see how many rows of stamps I could fit.
I used some matboard from the back of a scrapbook paper pad and cut some notches into them so they would fit nicely together (just dont look too closely, lol!). Put all the pieces back together with some extra glue & voila! I found myself feeling like quite the clever one & using them feel a bit ceremonious too. I am now scouring my closet shelves for more boxes since I have a bunch of alphabet sets that are in serious disarray... neat huh??
